The Museum is located on the high grounds of the centre of Cascais and is part of its cultural perimeter.
From the train station, you can hop on a busCAS, a reduced-fee bus which stops at the Cidadela. biCAS bicycles are also available at the station, free of charge.
By car, from the A5 highway, follow the directions "Museu do Mar" and/or "Casa das Histórias Paula Rego Museum". From the Marginal (the seaside road), head towards the Bay of Cascais, then drive uphill towards the Citadel, where you can park.
