This exhibition focuses on historical and technical aspects of Portuguese maritime history. Photographs and other graphic documents, as well as of some items essential for navigation or rescue at sea illustrate each of these themes.
Subjects of particular interest to Cascais and its memory, namely sailing, with an interactive multimedia presentation of some famous regattas, and the Naval Festivities that graced the coastline, and especially the Bay, of Cascais, are also explored.
