Guided tours
The King D. Carlos Sea Museum is located in the precinct of the former Sporting Club de Cascaes, founded in 1879 by Prince Carlos, later King D. Carlos I.
The museum invites the public to get to know the natural and cultural heritage through its expositions.
Guided tours take into account age group, education level and subject interests.
Tuesdays through Fridays,

King D. Carlos Anniversary

On the 15oth Anniversary of King D. Carlos I – Images of a Man who was King “What a good friend and what a great man!” Phrase by Thomas de Mello Breyner, physician and good friend of King D. Carlos.
On the day of the 150th anniversary of King D. Carlos, all are invited to get to know the man behind the public figure. Some stories will be told of the private life of the man who was king.
